I have invented some euphemisms for my company and its products. This was necessary because my company requires that anything put on the internet be done "blind" without stating the company name or any of its trademarked product names. I don't necessarily agree with the proliferation of euphemisms on the internet but it was suggested by a company representative as being an acceptable method. And it can be fun as well, because the internet embraces all kinds of unusual approaches to marketing.

The euphemisms that I have invented are as intuitive as possible bearing in mind that this is first of all a truly a great company which I represent. I have elected to call the company WunderWoRx (because WonderWoRx was taken) and in keeping with this same concept WunderWoRx produces products which I have elected to call CleanAirWoRx , CleanWaterWoRx , VentilationWoRx, LaundryWoRx and anticipating the release of another new product, VacuumWoRx . I have created websites for each of these names and I will keep them current on the latest information from WunderWoRx.

WunderWoRx announced the release of LaundryWoRx on May 1, 2006. At that time the first production run has already been sold out to holders of LaundryWoRx certificates. Many business owners purchased these certificates during a promotion that crisscrossed the United States and Canada. Each certificate entitles the bearer the right to purchase a LaundryWoRx at the wholesale price which at the time was not set. If you are lucky enough to order a LaundryWoRx from a business owner who purchased a number of certificates, you will be able to take shipment on a LaundryWoRx the first week of May and be able to wash without detergent by the second week in May.

Beta testers of the LaundryWoRx have reported that although there was some concern that the technology of the LaundryWoRx could potentially harm the elastic in certain types of clothing, the tests have shown that after a large number of loads through the system there appears to be no adverse effect on elastic, rubber, or similar substances that were washed using the technology. It is known that ozone will cause rubber and similar substances to break down over time and that the LaundryWoRx technology does produce some ozone, but apparently the level of ozone produced by the LaundryWoRx does not have any appreciable effect on clothing containing these compounds.

The precursors of the LaundryWoRx technology used much larger percentages of ozone and these machines were used to wash only laundry that did not contain elastic or rubber compounds. The percentages of ozone were large enough to not only damage laundry containing these compounds, but also the laundry machines themselves. Thus the previous technology required the invention of washing machines that did not have any rubber hoses, seals or other parts that would deteriorate under ozone exposure. One of the great advances of the LaundryWoRx technology is that it is a separate unit that can be used with any washing machine. This means that you do not have to go to the expense of buying a washing machine to take advantage of the LaundryWoRx technology and if you get a new washing machine you will still be able to take advantage of the LaundryWoRx technology.

An anecdote has been passed along that one of the people testing the prototype reported that he finally had to clean out the lint trap in his dryer after 54 loads of wash, mute testimony to the gentleness of the laundry machine process. The difference between using detergent and using the laundry machine is that detergent builds up in your clothes. As the detergent builds up in your clothes it increases the amount of zeolytes in them. Zeolytes are like miniture rocks and they act the rocks that our foremothers used to wash their clothes on. Besides helping to get dirt out of your clothes they act like sandpaper that abraids the fabric and not only abraids the fabric during the washing cycles but continues to abraid the fabric when you wear the clothes. No wonder new clothes become old in a hurry. The laundry machine process takes the detergent out of your clothes and also the zeolytes out of your clothes reducing the abrasion allowing your clothes to last longer.

The chemicals in detergent also tend to dull the colors in your clothes, the laundry machine removes these chemicals allowing the natural colors of the fabric return. The removal of detergent from your clothes also reduces the amount of chemicals you are exposed to on a regular basis. Those with skin conditions and allergies will probably benefit the most, but the rest of us will also benefit from not having the exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.
